Special Issue on
Novel Water Treatment Options for
Sustainable Solutions to Clean Water Scarcity
Water availability is a pressing issue in current times. Increase in urban population, limiting natural resources and improper water management has increased the need for effective & efficient water treatment strategies. The global water crisis has many causes, requiring many different solutions which must span policy, technology, and behaviour change to make a real difference. Thus, innovation and technology have a vital role to play in scarcity and safety, water efficiency, utility operations, monitoring, treatment and data analytics.
Pandit Deendayal Energy University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat (State), India organised the International Conference on Advances in Water Treatment and Management 2022. The conference was a great success with over 200 papers submitted from around the globe. The ICAWTM22 aimed to present options for low-cost renewable energy, highly efficient water treatment solutions, innovation in water desalination and water treatment technologies.
This Special Issue publishes research and review articles on advanced and efficient water treatment technologies and options.
