Circular Economy Policies for Water and Wastewater

The current global water crisis and the need for sustainable water and wastewater management approaches calls for a unique opportunity to bring together research that explores the application of circular economy principles in water and wastewater management.

This Special Issue showcases a curated collection of research articles, reviews, and case studies that cover agriculture, utilities, treatment processes, the energy-water nexus, and SDGs 6, 9, and 11. These articles are expected to have a lasting impact on policy and practice in the field and will be of interest to researchers, policymakers, utility managers and practitioners from agriculture, environmental science, economics, the water and wastewater sector.
