Water security and sustainability have long been used to address water-related challenges. Building resilience is crucial to achieve this and to ensure systems function in the face of shocks and stresses. Water resilience strengthens the core principles of security and sustainability while enhancing system stability. This is essential for maintaining the long-term stability of water systems.
This Special Issue entitled ‘Building Water Resilience’ focuses on the science of water resilience, exploring its progress, emerging scientific thinking, tools, and practices, and is open for submissions in H2Open Journal
