Water Reuse Special Issue on
Cutting-edge Research on the Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Emerging Contaminants in China
CALL FOR PAPERS
The 6th National Conference on Water Treatment and Reuse of China was held in Guilin on August 22-24, 2022. To facilitate development and the communication of new research and technology in water reclamation, a Special Issue has been launched for the conference papers which will be published in Water Reuse.
The theme of the Special Issue is 'Cutting-edge research on the Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Emerging Contaminants in China', which focuses on the frontiers of emerging contaminants.
We are pleased to invite you to submit a manuscript to Water Reuse for peer review and possible publication in a Special Issue for the 6th National Conference on Water Treatment and Reuse of China entitled ‘Cutting-edge research on the Action Plan for Prevention and Control of Emerging Contaminants in China’.
Water Reuse is a key journal published by IWA Publishing with the impact factor of 3.05. In recent years, its influence has increased rapidly, and it has great potential for future development and growth. The usual article processing charges ($2,150) for publishing in this journal will not apply to papers submitted to this Special Issue as costs will be covered by the Committee of Water Treatment and Reuse, not charged to authors.
Relevant topics include:
- New principles and technologies for environmental monitoring of emerging contaminants;
- Ecological and health risk assessment of emerging contaminants;
- New theories, technologies and process for the treatment of emerging contaminants;
- Policies, regulations and standards for the treatment of emerging contaminants.
Key dates:
Deadline for manuscript submission: 31st August 2023
Expected publication: Accepted papers will be published online as soon as possible after acceptance.

Please make sure that your paper follows the Instructions to Authors of the journal, before submitting your paper directly to Water Reuse’s peer review system. Then choose the article type – ‘Special Issue Article OA’ and the submission category – ‘Special Issue: Emerging Contaminants 2022’. This will send your paper to one of the Guest Editors.
