The adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) onto almond green hull was compared with several low cost adsorbents and they are shown in Table 3. The adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) on AGHP is calculated as 10.123 mg g−1 at pH = 2 and room temperature. Almond green hull in the present study possesses reasonable adsorption capacity in comparison with other sorbents.
