Finally, Table 5 shows the model parameters used in the process simulation. We identified benzene as the key component to evaluate the reactor performance, since it is the most soluble (in water) xenobiotic component present in the produced water and it has a higher inhibition influence on biomass. We chose Pseudomonas putida as biomass, since it is tolerant to salt concentrations tested in this work.
