The water level outputs from the uncorrected model (CMB) are used as the system state in the following KF, i.e., . The dynamics of the water level are represented through LM. This LM is carried out at seven sampling stations, respectively, with a 15-minute forecast horizon, which is one time step interval consistent with the numerical model output. The optimal embedding parameters are estimated through the genetic algorithm described by Babovic et al. (2005) and summarized in Table 2.
