We also associated the mean percentage of mouse clicks for information gathering and the mean percentage of time spent for information gathering (Table 3) with each of the trends in mean confidence levels reported in the previous sub-section. Results showed that participants with a positive trend in mean confidence levels also had 13% more mouse clicks than participants with a negative trend, and 9% more mouse clicks than participants with no trend in AOIs related to information gathering. Participants with a positive trend in mean confidence levels spent 1% more time than participants with a negative trend, and 12% more time than participants with no trend in AOIs related to information gathering.
