When looking at the results in Figure 6, it is clear that the results begin to converge after the case with 4 × 104 cells. The case with 1.5 × 105 cells and 6 × 105 cells, on the other hand, tends to replicate findings that are similar to those obtained in experiments. The grid of 1.5 × 105 cells was chosen for the current study due to the computational time. As a consequence, a uniform linear grid with element sizes of 0.085 m is used. In the vicinity of the seawall structure, the mesh is refined three times. Near the seawall structure, the most refined grid is Δx = 0.028 m and Δy = 0.028 m, while near the boundary, the most coarse grid is Δx = 0.11 m and Δy = 0.11 m. Table 4 contains information about the grid resolution.
