A summary of tests performed in the field by ponding methods is given in Table 4. A total of eight ponding tests were performed on eight channels with an average pod size of 697 ft (1 ft = 0.3048 m). Tests were repeated to obtain more accurate estimates. Tests on Lagar Disty. and Arian Minor-1 were repeated using ponding methods as well, to obtain better and more accurate estimates of seepage rates.
