In order to add quantitative evidence to the conceptual hydrogeological model, a preliminary characterization of the stream-aquifer relationships was made using dissolved 222Rn in water. The characterization of 222Rn activity in groundwater and surface water was performed by punctual water measurements at five sites (stream and wells), (Table 8, Figure 8) located along the entire basin.
