An all-in-one type compact Advanced oxidation process (AOP) system using UV/O3/TiO2 for water purification has been developed. Since all elements are packed in one case, portability and easy installation are facilitated. The ozonizer in this system is newly designed for generating ozone gas just before injection and the extending life time of electrodes. TOC degradation ability is confirmed by using sodium acetate solution. The performance of this AOP system is demonstrated for hydroponics. This system can kill bacteria in fertilizer solution, increase dissolved oxygen and no influence for fertilizer elements. From the results of tomato hydroponic tests, tomato growth using this system is much faster than without the system. It is clearly turned out that this AOP system is suitable for hydroponics.
