Knowledge Exchange in a Regional Context (Nordiwa 2023)

Wastewater management, urban drainage and climate adaptation are complex societal challenges that require collaborative solutions. Diverse geographical conditions and evolving environmental pressures further complicate these issues. The Nordic Wastewater Conference (Nordiwa) 2023, held in Göteborg, Sweden, in September 2023, brought together water professionals in the Nordic countries to exchange knowledge and learn from practical experiences with a special focus on regional challenges.

This Special Issue highlights the insights and outcomes from this conference and covers areas ranging from climate adaptation and circular economy to wastewater treatment and risk management.
