Lakes and Reservoirs
CALL FOR PAPERS
Guest Edited by Dr Liliana Pagliero, Dr Kathy Cinque and Dr Arash Zamyadi
Lakes and reservoirs provide drinking water, support biodiversity, and sustain recreation and economic activities but face threats from pollution, climate change, and overuse. Managing them requires a multidisciplinary approach integrating hydrodynamics, hydrology, biogeochemistry, microbiology, aquatic biology, modeling, and management.
Stemming from the IWA Lake and Reservoir Management Conference 2024, this Special Issue entitled ‘Management of Lakes and Reservoirs’ focuses on cutting-edge research, practical approaches, and interdisciplinary perspectives to address the multifaceted challenges associated with maintaining and improving the quality of these water bodies. It is open for submissions in Water Quality Research Journal and Hydrology Research.
Deadline for manuscript submission: 30th April 2025
Expected publication: Articles will be published online as soon as possible after acceptance.
For full details on how to submit, please see our Call for Papers page.
