Water Supply issues a formal retraction in relation to the above article by Majid Khayatnezhad, Ebrahim Fataei, and Aliakbar Imani. The publisher issues this retraction due to concerns that were raised regarding potential citation manipulation in this article, due to over-citation and inappropriate references. The journal did not receive a satisfactory response to these concerns and as such the Editors-in-Chief no longer have confidence in the integrity of the article.
