Water supply systems have traditionally relied on the integration of several different components. However, the ever-increasing pressures due to energy costs, rapid urbanization, population growth, geo-political problems, aging water infrastructure etc. have raised serious concerns regarding the viability of traditional water supply systems. Consequently, new approaches and techniques have become crucial to provide additional features for design and management of water supply networks.
This Special Issue entitled ‘Smart Water Supply Systems: Instrumentation, Metering, Controls and Sensors, and Computational Intelligence’ is aimed at discussing the role of instrumentation, metering, controls and sensors, and computational intelligence for design of smart water supply and is open for submissions in Water Supply and AQUA - Water Infrastructure, Ecosystems and Society.
Deadline for manuscript submission: 30th May 2025
Expected publication: Articles will be published online as soon as possible after acceptance.
For full details on how to submit, please see our Call for Papers page.
