Water Supply Special Issue on

Integrated management of rivers and reservoirs

CALL FOR PAPERS

In association with the 5th International Conference on Hydraulic and Civil Engineering (ICHCE 2019) we would like to present this Special Issue which will focus on integrated management of rivers and reservoirs, the following topics will be considered:

  • The management of lakes and reservoirs, including the lake science and ecology required for the sound management of these systems.
  • River engineering; urban drainage systems; floods and droughts.
  • Energy-saving technologies and strategies; hydrology; disasters; agricultural water and climate change; water resources management.
  • Water quality related to environmental ecology, agriculture, and biological populations in relation to the management of rivers and reservoirs.
  • Development of new hydrologic methods, theories and applications to current engineering problems; analytical, numerical and experimental methods for the investigation and modelling of hydrological processes.
  • Sustainable water resources management; water reclamation and reuse; irrigation; desalination systems for water supply.
  • Scientific engineering, environmental and socio-economic issues related to irrigation, drainage and flood management.
  • Research and application of desalination technology, environment and energy considerations, integrated water management.
