The poster describes investigations on two large storm-water retention tanks incorporated in the sewer system of the city of Munich, Germany. The purpose of the study was to examine the hydraulic efficiency; investigated were frequency and duration of combined water storage, input and output of the pollution load, and sedimentation of solid material in the storm-water tanks.
