Among many good posters it was really a challenge to determine the best one. I wish to warmly thank my colleges in the jury: Professor Egboka from Nigeria, Dr Hagebro from Denmark, Professor Rahman from the US and Mr Nyberg from the Stockholm Water Company, Sweden, for their dedicated work. For the evaluation we used the following criteria:

  • • scientific value;

  • • efficiency in message, graphical design and layout;

  • • news value.

A brief comment on the poster exhibition this year is that we can see a trend towards more integrated studies with solution orientation and involvement of stakeholders. Overall quality has also increased.
